Girne (Kyrenia) East Ring Road
Core testing of bituminous base and wearing courses; layer thickness and compaction control.
Lefkoşa (Nicosia) district village roads
Compaction control of subbase and plant-mixed base (sand cone, LFWD) and asphalt core testing on road works covering many villages.
Municipal road and asphalt paving works
Asphalt core, thickness and compaction testing on municipal roads in the Lefkoşa, Girne and İskele regions.
Asphalt plant production control
Gradation and bitumen content testing of hot-mix asphalt for production control at the plant.
Public projects
Presidential Complex (Külliye) roads
Compaction control of the plant-mixed base (PMT) layer on the main and internal roads.
Hospital projects
Fill and subbase material testing (sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, CBR), compaction control and asphalt core testing for hospital projects in Lefkoşa, Güzelyurt and Pamuklu.
Research and environment
EU-funded soil sampling and geochemical analysis project
Systematic field soil sampling, sample coding and quality control procedures for a toxicity risk assessment.

Compaction control of fill and subbase (LFWD, sand cone), soil and asphalt testing for residential and hotel projects in the Girne, Esentepe and Lefkoşa regions.
Our technical team’s experience before DrillTech
Before founding DrillTech, our technical team worked at another engineering firm as the engineer directly responsible for testing and fieldwork on the major projects below. These projects were carried out under that firm’s contracts; they are listed here to show our team’s experience.
Infrastructure and sewerage
Famagusta sewerage network
Engineering-geological investigation (64 boreholes, SPT, sampling and laboratory testing) and quality control of fill, subbase and asphalt during the network rehabilitation works.
New Northern Nicosia trunk sewer
Geotechnical investigation for the pumping stations (boreholes, SPT, rock cores, RQD) and compaction and asphalt quality control during construction.
Hamitköy and Mandres sewerage infrastructure
Geological investigation (40 boreholes, SPT, undisturbed samples, consolidation and triaxial tests) and material approval and compaction control during construction.
Pedieos (Kanlıdere) river rehabilitation
Phase 1 geotechnical investigation: 10 boreholes, SPT, soil and rock core testing, reporting in Turkish and English.
Irrigation system for the reuse of treated wastewater, Güzelyurt
Compaction control of pipeline backfill, reservoir embankment material testing and concrete strength testing.
Animal waste disposal facilities
Compaction control of fill and foundations and concrete strength testing at the Güngör, Geçitkale, Haspolat, Famagusta and Vadili facilities.
Public buildings and roads
Presidential and Parliament buildings, Nation’s Garden and Nation’s Mosque
Material approval tests, subbase compaction control and asphalt core and hot-mix testing on the car parks and access roads.
Highway patching and repair works
Asphalt cores, binder extraction and Marshall testing on highways including Beyarmudu–Dörtyol, Haspolat–Geçitkale–Taşkent and around Lefkoşa.
Municipal road and asphalt works
Asphalt core, hot-mix and base-course compaction testing on road works in Lefkoşa, Girne, Gönyeli and Yeniboğaziçi.
University campus works
Fill compaction control, material and asphalt testing for faculty buildings, a polyclinic and campus car parks and roads in Famagusta and Lefkoşa.
School and public-institution projects
Material, compaction and asphalt testing for vocational, secondary, primary and nursery school sites, an institutional car park and a fire station.
Pavement failure investigation
Investigation and reporting of the causes of distress in an existing road pavement through coring, thickness, hot-mix and base material testing.
Site investigation
Site investigations for plots and residential projects
Boreholes, SPT, sampling, laboratory testing and bearing capacity assessment in Gönyeli, Çatalköy, Koruçam and the surrounding area.
